EXPLOSION DURING A FIRE
SIX KILLED, OTHERS INJURED DAMAGE A MILLION DOLLARS. By Telegraph.—Pros* Association.—Copyright. Winnipeg, March 11. Fire destroyed the International Harvester Company's warehouse at Winnipeg. An explosionthe cause of which is unknown—occurred, burying three employees and two firemen. All five perished. The explosion caused the north-east end of the building to fall. A spectator, standing on the skylight of a neighbouring building, fell through and was killed on the floor beneath. Flying bricks injured several people, but not seriously. The loss totals a million dollars.
