TERRORISM IN IRELAND
SOME SHOOTING- IN GALWAY. SIX MEN WOUNDED. By Telegraph.—Press Association.— Copyright (Received March 12, 11.40 p.m.) London, March 12. While six men were driving from a hurling match' in Galway, they were fired on by men who were ambushed on both sides of the road. All the men in the carriage were wounded, two seriously. No arrests were made.
Judge Denny, in opening the Roscommon Assizes, declared that there was evidence of an organised system of terrorism in the district.
