New York, December 13. A. J. Clarke, the Victorian cyclist, and Willie. Rutt, the German, won the six days' cycle race in Madison Square Gardens, for teams of two, covering 2660 miles in the week. Herjir, another Australian, was in the second team, which covered only one mile less than the winning pair. In a recent big three-cornered match between Clarke, Lawson, and Kramer, the American champion, each being teamed with a pacemaker, the Australian won by three-quarters of a length. Clarke also won a three-miles scratch race from Lawson and Kramer in the good time of 6m. lis.
