OVERRIDING AWARDS.
[by TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] . Dtjnedin, Tuesday. At a meeting of the Licensed Victuallers' Association of Otago and Southland a resolution was unanimously carried protecting against the action of. the Government in attempting to override the decisions of the. Arbitration Court by introducing the Shops and Offices Bill, especially as the Court came to a fair and equitable decision, which was agreed to by the parties. The meeting therefore objected to the unwarranted interference, and intends to stand by the decision of the Court until it is abolished, and to call on the Hon. J. A. Millar to withdraw the Bill introduced by him... ,
