The number of vessels which have entered' inwards through the Customs at Nelson, during the past week, have been 13, of an aggregate burden of 1,442 tons, bringing 79 passengers for here and 15 en route for other ports. Of these vessels 7 were steamers of altogether 1,270 tons, and 6 sailing vessels of 172 tons y of these latter 1 was from West Wauganui Inlet with coal, 2 from Havelock with timber, 1 fromOkarita in ballast, and 2 from Golden Bay. During the past 4 weeks, 23 steam vessels of 5,428 tons, and 31 sailing vessels of 1,204 tons, altogether 54 vessels of 6,632 tons, have entered through the Customs, bringing altogether 315 passengers for this port. ' During the same week, 12 vessels of 1,329 tons have cleared outwards, taking with them 46 passengers.
