LARGE REWARD OFFERED.
FOR EFFECTIVE TREATMENT
OTTAWA, Jan. 21
Lord Athelstan, proprietor of the '' Montmil Star,'' has offered a reward of 300,000 dollars to the graduate or student of any recognised university who within five years is first to discover a medicinal treatment for the effective cure of cancer. The decision will be made by (the Royal College pf Physicians, London. The offer may be renewed after the lapse of the five-year periiO'd.—A. and N.Z.
