DIED IN A DRAIN.
PALMERSTON, June 12
The body of a man named Thomas Pickard, aged 75, was found in a drain at Kairanga. Deceased left his home in Palmerston last evening to go to the picture show, but he seems to have wandered away to where his body was found.
