A resolution reaffirming Italy's faith in tho Allies and the necessity for national unity to help the army repel the invaders was adopted.

Palestine official: General Allcnby reports tied the infantry and mounted rifles continue to advance. Wo now hold the railway line near Neanes Mansurah. including the junction of the Beersheba and Damascus railway, with a line to Jerusalem. We inflicted heavy losses on Tuesday anu buried 400 of the enemy at Katrah alone, as well as taking 1500 prisoners. PACIFISTS ORGANISATIONS IN LONDON. Received November 16, 11.10 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 15. Detectives raided the offices of four pacifist organisations in London and required a van to'remove the correspondence and samples of propaganda to Scotland Yard.
AMERICAN EXPENDITURE
Received November 16. 10.25 a.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 15. Mr W. G. McAdoo, in a speech, said that the Government expenditure was below tho estimates, and it was necessary to only ten billions more by July. People must show that they are prepared to make any sacrifice of luxuries, pleasure, and comforts.
