Garston, March 13. Qur district was eu i’ete yesterday, March 11, the occasion being the celebration of the marriage ol Mr Lionel Blakely, second son o/Mr E. F. Blakely of Lome Peak station, to Miss Lily Northcoat, daughter 01 Mr A. Northcoat of Stony Creek Farm. The #ceremony was performed by the liev. Ben wick of Lumsden, assisted by the Bov. J. Naylor of this parish, in the Garston Presbyterian Church, which was oeautifully decorated by the bride’s gin friends in the season's flowers. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming frock oi white silk, with overdress of white silk georgette. Her embroidered tulle veil hung in graceful folds from a wreath of pearls ‘and orange blossoms. Her sister, Misis Jean, wore a rose pink georgette frock. The wee flower girl, Miss Margaret McPherson, was dressed in pale heliotrope georgette and she carried a basket of pale heliotrope ana pink sweet peas. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr Norman Blakely.

A marquee erected on the green near the church was ready to receive the guests, who numbered 150, Here the wedding repast was spread, in the course oi which several felicitous speeches were made.
