Messrs. j. ollivier & son beg to give notice to Stockowners, Farmers, and others, that in consequence.of repeated representations made to them of the inconvenience arising from the sale of Cattle within the limits of the town, they have made arrangements for opening a CATTLE MARKET at the village of Spreydon, for the disposal of all descriptions of Farm Stock, the want of which has long been seriously felt. THE VILLAGE OF SPREYDON forms a portion of the estate of Mr. A. Moore, about four miles from Christchurch, on the Lower Lincoln road, and as a site for a market is unequalled by any other spot that could be selected for the purpose. It is situated in the centre of rich pasture farms, and between two or three hundred acres of first-class grass is to be obtained off this property alone, the whole of which is well-fenced, and with an abundant supply of good water, and all the surrounding properties are more or less laid down to English grass, and fenced ofl into very convenient-sized paddocks The owners of these properties have already expressed their readiness to graze cattle to any extent that may be brought to this market for sale, and i the auctioneers are prepared to provide accommoArrangements have been made for a continuous supply of cattle, steers, fat stock, mfich cows, &c., and which the auctioneers propose to offer for sale BY PUBLIC AUCTION, On the first Wednesday in each month.
