ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

i . Blenheim, March 26. Mr T. W. Glover, lecturer of the New Zealand Alliance, met with a severe trap accident this afternoon. The horse became restive at an approaching train, and backed into the train. The forco of the collision smashed the trap, and threw the occupants out. Mr Glover's face was badly injured and disfigured, and the Bey Spence and his wife were severely bruised and shaken, the latter having her ankle sprained. Ashbubton, March 26.
At the inquest on the body of Edward McOaye, who was drowned while crossing Hinds River on Monday, the jury returned a verdict of accidental death.
Private board and residence wanted.
Next week Stratford Bacon Company will reoeive piga at Eltham and Kaponga on Tuesday instead of Monday.
