Logan was found guilty and executed at Biohemie by a firing party sent up there, Tho Dahomey arrived at Grand Bassam on the 19th of November, and there leai.ied of the serious defeat of a body of French troops, many of whom wero and wounded. Grand Basam is the principfl port of the French Ivory coast, and two expeditions were going into tho interior, one to Kong and the other against a powerfi' chief behind Grand Bassam.
