THE POPE'S ATTITUDE
CAUSES DISSATISFACTION IN ITALY
LONDON, June 26. The " Osservatore " points out that the opinion of the Holy See must be judged by public official documents and not by private publications, which may contain various inexactitudes. The Italian public regard this ex. planation as unsatisfactory, especially as the inexactitudes are not specified. They are astonished th*t the Pope allowed the interview after the difficulties arising with Weigaml.
