Wellington, April 4. A. faro broke out this morning in the premises in Victoria street occupied by tho Welsbach Light Co as a manufactory and by the Union o.b. bo. as a stores department. I'rvemen climbed through a thick cloud of blinding smoke. Much damage was done, including tho destruction of apppi-oximately a quarter of a million, mantle boxes.
