Foxton. —Council: G. Coley, Dr. Adams, A. Gibbs, H. Greig, Alex. Speirs, Thos. Rimmer, W. Carter, W. S. Stewart, ana H. Chrys'tal; there were 12 nominations. For the Foxton Harbour Board —Messrs P. A. Hennessy and Gibbs were elected from four candidates. For Mayor, Mr Styles was elected unopposed.

(PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Eltham. —Very little interest was taken in the Mayoral electiou. Out of three candidates, Mr G. P. Wake was returned.

Temuka.—Mr Buxton, M.P., was re-elected Mayor of Temuka. Timaru.—Mr James Craigie, M.P., was re-elected Mayor of Timaru for the tenth time,

Pahiatua —Mr W. W. McCardle was re-elected by 247 to Mr A. Weston's 131.

Auckland. —The City Council election resulted: Messrs Court, Entrican, Mennie, Gleeson, Shaw, Mackay, Casey, Tudehopo, Knight, Read, Nerheuy, Dickson, Trevithick, Michaels, Gaudin. Tho Labour Ticket's three were almost at the bottom of the poll.

Grey Lynn.—Mr W. H. Murray was elected Mayor. Auckland Harbour Board.—Messrs Hutchison, Alison, Heather, Virtue, Fisher, Keen, Bond, Keyes, Gunscu, Bradney, Entrican, Adams, Bagley, and J. E. Taylor or Rutherford.

Napier.—lntense interest was taken in the Municipal and Harbour Board pols. The results were not declared till midnight. - All the old Council, with the addition of Mr W. A, Smith, who replaces Mr J. P. Thomson, who is absent in England, were returned. The Harbour Board election .resolved itself into a fight between the breakwater and inner harbour parties, the latter winning all three ISapier seats, ■with Messrs J. J. Niven, W. J. McGrath, and M. F. Bourke. The party pledged themselves to a thorough inquiry as to the best harbour, and it is mot unlikely that engineering advice will be sought from Home. Eketahuna.—The following were elected to the Council: Messrs -Thompson, Wilson, Knight, McLean, Stuart, 3Vise.. The poll to borow £1400 for _n electric lighting plant duplication _q_ extension was earied by 103 to 66.
