OCCUPIED BY NAZIS
WHOLE OF COPENHAGEN
Rec 11.30 a.m. LONDON, August 24. Forty thousand German soldiers, with tanks and armoured vehicles, have completely occupied Copenhagen, say messages from Stockholm. The Germans also have proclaimed a state of emergency in six Danish cities as the result of sabotage, strikes, and riots between the Danes and German soldiers, in which at least 50 deaths have occurred.
