KEEPS IN TOUCH WITH NEW ZEALANDERS
(0.C.) LONDON, January 15. Mrs. R. M. Ring (formerly of Marlborough), whose husband is in the Royal Navy and has been away from England for 18 months, is living with friends in Kent. She has a small! school in Smarden. "I have some opportunity," she said, "of working towards the ideals set before his Education 111 students by Professor Shelley at Canterbury College." Mrs. Ring keeps in touch with many New Zealanders in England. Friends who have stayed with her recently include Norman Dunning, R.N.VJL (Wellington), Maurice Newman, R.N.V.R. (Christchurch), Alfred Williams (Cambridge). Another of her friends is Mrs. George Tappenden (formerly of Wellington). In August Mrs. Ring was present at the wedding of Winifred Weenink (Pareora) to Francis Lee, who is in the Merchant Navy. In Edinburgh she stayed with Mrs. Ross, who was formerly Miss Nancy McLean (Timaru). During the recent summer Mrs. Ring bicycled for three weeks in England and Scotland.
