NEUTRALITY ACT REVISION
LONDON, October 3. "President Roosevelt, at his Press conference today, spoke about the revision of the United States Neutrality Act. He said that the final decision would only be reached after a two-party conference with the leaders of the Senate next Tuesday. He indicated that he would ask for the repeal of that section of the Act which bans the arming of merchant vessels. Mr. Roosevelt also disclosed that he had asked Mr. W. A. Harriman, leader of the United States delegation to the Three-Power Conference at Moscow, to take up- the question of religious freedom in Russia while attending the conference. He said he had not yet received any report from Mr. Harriman. .
