The Chief Postmaster at Wellington (Mr. F. G. Nind) attended a meeting of the council of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce last evening and was welcomed by the president (Captain S. Holm). Mr. Nind replied briefly, and said that he was glad of the opportunity to meet members of the business community on their own ground.
