SERIOUS CHARGE FAILS
After a short retirement in the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon a jury found Ivan Laurence Purdon, a taxi-driver, aged 20, not guilty of attempted carnal knowledge on September 13. The prisoner was discharged by Mr. Justice Blair.
Mr. W. H. Cunningham appeared for the Crown, and Mr. G. I. Joseph for the prisoner.
