ITALO-SPANISH SOLIDARITY

ROME, July 9,
For the purpose of discussing economic, political, and military relations, the Foreign Minister, Count Ciano, has left for Spain aboard a cruiser. He will meet General Franco on July 12 He said that the visit was a confirmation of Italo-Spanish solidarity and of the sentiments exemplified during the war. Italy wanted Spain to be strong and united. Spain knew she could always depend on Italy's support.
