Procera Bread Process (New Zealand)), Ltd.'s annual meeting was held in Wellington on November 23, when the directors' report and accounts for the twelve months ended September 30 were placed before the shareholders.
The latest advice from the English Company is to the effect that their present turnover is now yielding a profit, with good prospects of a definitely increased turnover. An interim dividend of 15 per cent, has been received during the year from the international company.
A company has been formed to take over the management of the Australian business, the personnel connected with the new company being the same as has handled the Procera Company's interests in Australia for the past few years. Arrangements are being made to organise the selling of some kindred products, both in. Australia and New Zealand, with a view to augmenting the income from these places. The accounts show a net profit of £.962 5s 3d for the year, which, with the amount carried forward from the previous year, brings the amount of the profit and . loss appropriation account to £1428 5s lid. A dividend of 5 per cent, on the capital of . £25,000 was recommended and passed.
