(Received November 25, 10 a.m.) LONDON, November 24. In a Rugby Union football match, North Midlands beat Leicestershire, 17-14.
Appreciation of the work of Inspector C. A. J. Peterson, of the Transport Department, who has been transperred to Hawera, was expressed at the meeting of the Upper Hutt Borough Council last evening by the Mayor (Mr. P. Robertson). He said that Inspector Peterson had shown outstanding ability.
