SUMMARY OF RESULTS
ANGLO-FRENCH TALKS
(Received November 25, 2.50 p.m.)
LONDON, November 24
The "Daily Telegraph's" Paris correspondent summarises the result of the Anglo-French agreement as (1) an extension of military collaboration; (2) the continuation of appeasement efforts without overshadowing defence necessities; (3) no modification at present of non-intervention regarding Spain and no granting of belligerent rights except as part of that plan; (4) France approved the British action in the plans for Jewish emigration which were referred to the Winterton Committee and to which financial support will be given if necessary towards international action.
The correspondent adds that the Far East was considered very briefly.
