A letter which has been received by the Mayor of Windsor announces that his Majesty has decided to give to the Corporation of Windsor 80 acres of land alongside the Thames and adjoining Windsor Castle. The letter adds that in making the gift, the King hopes that in considering the future use of the land the council will be mindful of the requirements of the youth of the district and that everything possible will <be done to provide recreation and to increase physical fitness among the rising generation.
