ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
The weekly meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Football Association was held last night. Mr. W. B. Hicks presided, and there were present Messrs. G. Aers, J. Allan, A. J. Costelloe, R. Gilpin, E. McQueen, C. Ballard, H. Spolsky, J. Kean, A. Powers, E. Gales, and W. Arcus (secretary)-
The Hospital Club was granted permission to travel to Wanganui on a date to be arranged, probably August 21, for tho purpose of.playing,a friendly match. An application for the transfer of A. Harris, oC the Waterside Club, from senior A to junior A was approved. The following fixtures for Saturday week, July 24, were approved:— First round, Auld Cup.—First A division, at 2.45 p.m.: S^atoun v. Hospital, at Hospital; Petone v. Technical Old Boys, at Petonc; Diamond v. Waterside, at Basin Reserve No. 1; Marist v. Institute Old Boys, at Basin Reserve No. 2.
First B Division, 2.45 p.m.: Lower Hutt v. Orislow, at Hutt Recreation Ground; Miramar Rangers v. Scottish Wanderers, at Crawford Green; Korokoro v. Nada, at North Park; Wadestown v. Swifts, at Wakefield Park No. 1.
