PRINTERS' REUNION
Mr. Marcus A. Marks presided at a most successful annual reunion (the eighth) of superannuated members of the Government Printing Office.
The chairman asked members to stand as a mark of respect to those members (Messrs. John Mackay, late Government Printer, H. J. Claridge, J. Garfleld, J. H. Lankshear, F. McCornish, and D. Y. Wilson) who had passed away since the last gathering. The following toasts were proposed: "The King," "The Superannuated Public Service Association," "The Superannuated Government Printing Office Servar«"s' Association."
Speeches by Messrs. Marks, Wright, Ingram, Mason, and J. Burns were appreciated. The committee was rc-clccted for the ensuing year. Songs by Messrs. W. Parsons and W. Houchen, and a saxophone solo by Mr. E. Burrell, were much enjoyed.
Mr. Parsons was elected to represent the printers on the committee of the Public Service Superannuitants' Association, in place of Mr. C. Campbell, who did not seek re-election.
A vote of thanks was accorded the pianist (Mr. Fisher).
