CRICKET CLUB DANCE

A ■well-attended social evening and dance was held in the Taita Hall by the- social1-i.-committee of the- Taita Cricket Club.: Mrs. Pudney and Mrs. Thorns, of the ladies' committee, were responsible for the arrangement of the concert programme. Much appreciated items were contributed by Mrs. Dawson and Mrs. Stedman (songs), Mr. J. Bolton (saxophone solos), Miss T. Bilby* (tap. dance), Mr. Will Bishop and Mr. W. :Ji Gough (humorous items). Ross Robinson and his cowboysfrom 2YA were popular" entertainers; with their Hawaiian music." '■'" ■•■"■'' .Before'the supper .interval the president of the club, Mr. W. B.
