NOVICE TWO-YEAR-OLDS

Five two-year-olds are to be paraded at the Southland Racing Club's Meeting tomorrow, and as they are all inexperienced they will bear inspection. Three hail from Southland studs, one comes from Central Otago, and the other «from New South Wales.

Of Mr. W. T. Hazlett's pair, the filly by Polazel from Bridget is well forward; the other is a filly by Night Raid from Louise, one who promises to develop good class later on. Dr. J. E. Roger's filly by Lord Warden from Set Sail is well grown and attractively actioned. Mr. W. D. McLeod's colt by Rosenor from Aspiring is also well grown and can move fast. Mr. W. Baird's Australian-foaled filly, Blue Sapphire, by Blue Flame from Ardis, bids fair to be a useful performer.
