COLLODION WORKING WELL
According to a Wanganui report Collodion has gone on the right way since winning at Waverley, and the way he has been galloping recently suggests that he will not be long in adding to his winning record. The big son of Colossus is to run in the five-furlong hack race at Levin tomorrow, and with 8.4 on his back he will be one of the hard ones to beat.
-On Tuesday morning Collodion and Spiral were companions in a five-furr long spin, but they were not asked to do their best. Spiral had the better of it, running the distance in Imin 3Jsec on the No. 1 track, but both were going along very well., Spiral is looking in fine shape, and should make things interesting in the sprint events at Feilding. He may afterwards go to Ellerslie to contest the Auckland Cup.
