DERBY FAVOURITE AGAIN
By winning the Dewhurst Stakes during Cambridgeshire Week at Newmarket, H.H. the Aga Khan's colt; Bala iiissar has become winter favourite £ or next year's Derby. The halfbrother to Theft has already been backed for the Epsom classic. Daytona, following his victory in the Moulton Stakes the previous day has also been backed for the Derby
An addition to W. H. Dwyer's^ stable at Wanganui is a full-sister to Catalogue. She is a three-year-old that has not yet raced, but appears to have done a fair amount of work. She is said to be a good looking sort, fand if she trains on she should prove useful.
