REREATU RECEIVES KICK
While parading in the birdcage before going out for the Cambridge Handicap at the Waikato Meeting last Saturday, Hereatu received a kick in the ribs from another horse, but he did not appear to be. affected by it (says a northern writer). In the race he failed to show up prominently, but he has not yet returned to his best form although he has been galloping well and giving evidence that he is.steadily coming back. Provided that he continues to go on the right way he may not be long in displaying some of his former dash.
