VETERANS' CONFERENCE

The conference of the South African War Veterans' Association, which concluded yesterday, re-elected Mr. J. I. Goldsmith Dominion president for a third term in succession. Mr. T. McWhirter (Taranaki) and Captain C. F Bishop (Wellington) were also nominated for the position but both withdrew in favour of Mr, Goldsmith. Other officers elected were:—Vicepresidents, Messrs. A.
