CLOSER EMPIRE TIES
CAUSE OF WORLD PEACE
SPEECH BY RALPH CONNOR
(Received July 13, 1.30 p.m.) VANCOUVER, July 12. "We ought to feel proud, of our sister Dominions across the Pacific," said Ralph Connor, the well-known author, at a Canadian Club luncheon on his return from Australia. "We ought to learn more about them and at the same time develop a means of tying closer together the fringes of the Empire. A united Empire ought to be able to command world peace."
