SYDNEY, July 12. In the final of the associates' State golf, championship today Miss Joan Hammond defeated Mrs. Cliva Robinson at the 37th after a magnificent struggle. Mrs. Robinson was one up at the end of the morning round and five up at the 23rd. Miss Hammond, however, staged a remarkable recovery to win at the 37th. ■ Miss Hammond thus retains the title.
