GIRLS' MARATHON
SUCCESSFUL ENDING
The Wellington Croquet Association's bridge party held recently was the final function in connection with the girls* marathon in aidof the T.W.C.A.'funds. The proceeds from the party now total £25 3s clear, which, makes the net amount raised by the marathon £506. The actual race closed on June 9, when the returns were below the objective "of £.500 clear, and it was to bring them, up to this figure that the Wellington Croquet Association organised its bridge afternoon. ;
