AUSTRALIAN BROOD MARES
The three brood mares who arrived recently from. Australia en route to the Elderslie Stud, where Night Raid and Jliard arp located, are owned by the Queensland sportsman Mr. Colin Clarke. They are Barrimoon, Cootharaba, and Coochie Mudlow.
All these three mares descend from the imported mare White and Blue,, who was l»y Monseigneur, and founded a remarkably successful family of stake-earners in Australia and New Zealand. Barrimoori was foaled in 1928. by Publican (imp.) irom Weiba, by Chantemerle from Blue Stocking, by Havoc. Cootharaba is by October from Fleetness, by Mooltan from Carinthia, by Gooson, and Coochie Mudlow is by Peter the Hermit from Kihncadori, by Kilcheran.
