VISIT OF INDIAN TEAM
According to prfvkto advico leceiVed in Auckland, the Indian team is much superior to that which laat visited the Domhtion, and tho tour-- should give hockey a great impetus. The last tour not only benefited the game financially, but also aroused keen interest, the effects of which are still being felt. The game against Auckland at the Domain attracted a crowd of 19,000 spectators, while the Test off tho same ground was witnessed by 15,000. There was also a very large crowd 'at tho final Test, played at Eden Park;
Wesley senior A are to be congratulated heartily on their success against Huia on Saturday. While theirs was mainly a defensive game the excellence of their performance was.in the fact that they were able to withstand persistent attacks and retain their winning margin. The win was Wesley's third this season, a decided improvement on last season's unbroken run of losses and an indication that the team is likely to finish up with a respectable tally of <ih,ampionship points.
