AN ATTRACTIVE GAME
■ The Nai Nai ground, in contrast! to those in the city, was in splendid order for the game between University A and Technical, and attractive hockey was played by both aides, University, won by 3 goals to 2. For the: first .ten;; minutes University attacked strongly, but lost numerous opportunities through overeagerness. Technical then broke away with a clever passing movement, K. Blatherwick netting.- Shortly/afterwards
Garbett added to Technical's tally with a shot from a difficult angle. Mclntosh netted for University before half-time. Play in the second half was fairly even, but University gradually took the upper hand and Sykes decided the issue with two smart scoring shots. Time sounded with Technical pressing hard for a draw. The game was played in a fine spirit throughout. Mr. C. Harvey was the umpire.
