UNIVERSITY B ON TOP
An even game resulted from the meeting of University B and Wesley B, the students running out the winners by 5 goals to 4. In the first spell Wesley combined better than their opponents, but after the interval the game developed into a series of tussles between individual players, and University gained the ascendancy. Anderson (3), Arnold, and Burrows scored for University, and Spence (2), Marshall, and Young for Wesley. Messrs. C. Bollard and W. Jenkinson were the umpires.
