PROTECTION SOCIETY
A BUSY MEETING
There was a good attendance at the meeting of the committee of the Society for the Protection of Women and Children, held recently, when the president, Mrs. M: 11. Chatfield, J.P.;- was in the chair.
The business included the receivingof reports of the recent art union, and mention' was made of the kindness of the firms who had given space in their -windows for the doll which was raffled for the society's funds. The thanks' of the committee were expressed to both. Plans were made for the annual party of the society which will take place shortly. -Tho reports of the cases wero
