CANCER CAMPAIGN
EMPIRE DAY COLLECTION
LONDON, May 2. On the suggestion of the Duke of York, Empire Day will be adopted as a national collecting day in connection with the Empire Cancer Campaign at home and overseas. The public will be asked, to aid research centres in Britain and the Dominions.
The King sent £100, and the Queen £50. A Tumerous Mayors have organised flag days.
