FEILDING STOCK SALE

There were heavy yardings in all sections of the stock sale today, with a good firm tone throughout, with the exception of store lambs, which owing to lack of quality, were .somewhat sticky. Fat lambs and wethers maintained the recent improved rates, and fat ewes further advanced, while there was a very good demand for breeding ewes. Fat cattle showed some improvement. Fat lambs: Extra prime, 15s; prime, 13s; good, 12s to 12s 9d; medium, 11s to 11s 9d; fair, from 9s 6d; extra prime fat ewes, 8s 9d to 9s; prime, 6s to 7s 6d; fair, from 6s 9d; fat wethers, primest, 13s to 13s lOd; good, 11b 7d to 12s. . Stores:" A good line of four and fiveyear ewes, r.w. S.D. rams, lls 6d; fourtooth ditto, 10s 3d; two-tooth ditto, lls 7d; empty ewes, ss; lambs, culls, 6s 8d to 7s 6rl; ewe lambs, 8s 4d to 9r 7d; b.f. lambs, 8s Id to 8s 2d; m.sj lambs, 4s 9d; woolly wether lambs, 7s to 9s. Fat Hereford heifers, £3 15s to £3 10s; others, fat heifers, £2 to £3 0s 6d; fat cows, good heavy breeds, £3 to £3 i 18s; light, 36s to £2 10s; good Shorthorn and Red Poll bullocks, £6 Is; vealers, 5s 6d to 19s. Stores: Empty cows, 24s to 265; Hereford steers, 36s 6d; P.A. cows, r.w. P.A. j bull, 36s 6d; Shorthorn-Hereford bullocks, £2 17s; eighteen-months heifers, r.w.b., 265; P.A. steers, 20 months, £2 lls 6d; weaner Jersey heifers, 15s to 325; weaner P.A. heifers, 15s: P.A. bullocks, £3; cows, r.w.
