NORTHLAND SCHOOL
A meeting of the Northland Home and School Association was held on Wednesday night. Mr. T. Plant presided. Satisfaction was expressed with the work being done to assist children attending the Northland School, and at the success of the recent concert. It has been decided to hold fortnightly socials and dances, nnd by this means it is hoped to raise funds to meet demands during the winter months. Two men are at present engaged on work in the school grounds. A rockery is being laid down, and general improvements are being carried out as far as the association's funds permit.
