WELLINGTON CLUB

Although the Wellington Club's senior A team this year will be without the services of one or two players, who proved their worth last season, it is anticipated that it will be of the usual high standard. K. Hill, who in the centre-half position last year, played outstandingly well, lias been transferred to Christchurch where he will play for the Sydenham senior team. M., Toms will not be turning out this year and his services will also be missed. The team, however, will have able successors in T. Ferguson, captain of the y.M.C.A.'s senior team last year, and K. Falconer, who was also a member of the Young Men's senior A team. As far as is known at present the remaining member j of last year's team will be available. The senior B teanii will consist of last year junior players, as a number of those who played in the senior B team last year will bo on the bank this seasonAs far as the lower grades' are concerned there will only be one 'junior team this year instead of two, and it is possible that two now teams will be formed. Last year's fourth grade team will go up to third grade, while the, fourth grade team this season will probably consist of new players and members of last season's intermediate team. The club is a few players short in the lower grades, but it is expected that the teams will be completed by the time the season gets imder way. J. Froud, who played for tho juniors last year, will be turning out for University this season.
