(Received Bth February, 10 sun.')] BATAVIA, 7th February. The native naval mutineers sent out a wireless message: "The Seven Provinces is now in the hands of the crew. Our intention is to reach Surabaya. We will not use force. One day before reaching Surabaya we will receive our former commander and will hand him the ship. Our aim is a protest against wage-" cutting and the imprisonment of our comrades who refused work. There . are no wounded persons aboard. All is well." (Signed) The^Crew. Public opinion is demanding the stopping of the adventure as soon as possible, though some hesitation is caused by the thought of the fate of the Dutch prisoners aboard when force is used. Thousands of European, native, and Chinese citizens gathered tonight before the Palace of the- Gov-ernor-General, singing the National Hymn and expressing their loyalty and faith in the Governor-General, Jonkheer Dr. A. CD. de Graeff, who, in a speech, said that the crime of the mutineers would lead them nowhere. '
