GOODS. TRAIN DERAILED
SYDNEY, 7th February.
While driving his tractor across the main western railway line near Bathurst, a local farmer experienced a breakdown. ■ Unable to shift the tractor off the level crossing, and realising that a goods train was approaching he ran along the line and signalled frantically for the engine crew to i:top, but the train sped on and crashed into the tractor. . The train was derailed.' All later traffic was dislocated for some hours, but nobody was hurt, . ' •
