SLIGHT DECREASE
UNEMPLOYMENT FIGURES

RUGBY, 14th July.' The figures for unemployment issued by the Labour Ministry for the week show a check to the recent tendency to increase. There are at present 1,847,----000 wholly unemployed, and 674,000 temporarily out of work.1 " The total is 2,634,000, being 30,000' less than last week, but 700,000 more than a year ago:
