ESPERANTO CLUB
TLie weekly meeting of the Wellington Esperanto-Club took place on Tuesday in the V.M.C.A., Mr. E. C. Jack presiding. Mr. Jack mentioned that Esperanto was absolutely neutral, and could be employed for any purpose. In the first portion of the .evening .instructional and conversational,classes were formed, and good progress made., Mrs. C. Leek gave an Esperanto reading on "La Deveno de In Kiso." ■Mrs.-.M. Driuy; read several verses of an Esperanto poem commencing "Tra densa innllumo. .'.."■. Mr. L. E. Dust contributed :an amusing item in Esperanto on "Vizito al Kuirada Klaso." The concluding itemvwns an original Esperanto comedy entitled "Oni Staras antau la Tribunalo," the r.oles being preesnted by Miss Coralie Smytlison,;.Messrs. Joseph. Major, Vevnon Lecl<, and Bertram. Potts, the club secretary. ;
