WATERSIDE WORKERS
ANNUAL STOP-WORK
MEETING
The annual stop-work meeting of the Wellington Waterside Workers'- Union was held this morning. Mr. L. Glover presided over an attendance of between 800 and 900 members.
The president's address, in which was embodied a report of the year's working, and tho secretary's report and , balancesheet, were adopted.
The following nominations for official positions were received: President, Messrs. Jl. Cox and W. H. Rose; vice-president, Messrs. E. A. Dahl and L. Glover; treasurer, Mr. A. Coolcy; . secretary, Messrs. J. O. Johnson, J. E. Napier, and J. Hutchison; walking delegate, Messrs: G. Aijkew and E. E. Canham; local disputes committee, Messrs. L. Glover and J. O. Johnson (no election necessary); coal, Messrs. C. Goodall and J. H. Dunn (no election necessary); trustees, Messrs. M'Ewen, E;'W. Hodgson, and G.Gofßn (no election necessary); No. 1 section, Messrs. M. J. O'Grady. jun., M. Goodfellow, J. Sinclair, A. J. Hotton,' H. C. Nye, A. Moyes; H. W. Burroughs, M. Carlson (two to be elected); No. 2 section, Messrs. John Carr, C. Henry, R. Halroyd, W. J. Blackie. (two to be elected); Harbour Board, Messrs. John Thomas, J. J. Fox, C. Kelly (two to be elected).
